Hello Jo!
Like you, I like the small pleasures of life! I've spent the evening planting out 24 sunflower plants, each with a portion of manure, water and tied to two bamboo sticks. Each plant is about one foot tall, or 30 centimenters, so they're fragile and must be taken care of in the coming week or two, until they get strong roots. But who knows, in some months from now, they may grow up to become double as tall as myself - the future pride of our garden in the late summer :-)
